Lab42’s Qual-Quant Mixed methodology Research

We’ve got some exciting news to share! Lab42 has officially launched our Qual-Quant mixed methodology research solution. This new approach combines the depth of qualitative research with the breadth and validity of quantitative data, giving us a more holistic view of the topics our clients are looking to explore.

We recently applied this methodology to a project our about health insurance offerings (actually, it was a Qual-Quant-Qual study). By first conducting one-on-one interviews with stakeholders, we were able to more fully inform the research objectives to build out the quantitative survey in more depth and specificity. The second qualitative phase was used to validate the findings from the quantitative survey, and allowed us to uncover deeper insights about certain topics we saw emerging from the quantitative study. A final report of the key findings contained richer insights than we could have with either method alone. This mixed approach allowed us to understand not just the ‘what’, but the ‘why’ behind the data.

We believe this new methodology is a game-changer, especially for projects where understanding deeper context is key. It’s not just about more data, but better, more actionable insights.

If you’re interested in learning more about this project, a case study can be downloaded below.

We’re looking forward to utilizing this approach in our future projects and can’t wait to see the difference it makes for our clients. As always, we’re here to answer any questions and explore if this new solution can benefit your next project.
